Interesting Ice Cream Flavour

A few years ago I was in Spain and visiting one of their marvellous ice-cream shops. They'd tried translating the flavours into English, but obviously hadn't asked an English person. If they had they wouldn't have been advertising "scum" flavour...! I guess somebody had been trying to use a dictionary and found completely the wrong meaning.

I suppose cream is a kind of scum, if you think about it, it just carries such different connotations in English.

I saw the same mistranslation on the bilingual menu of a restaurant in Madrid called De María (the Spanish version said "helado de nata," or "cream ice cream."
